Meet Dr. Karah Markins
Dr. Karah Markins completed her undergraduate studies at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia then attended vet school at VMCVM, graduating in 2016. Her favorite thing about veterinary medicine is that everyday presents the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of pets and their people. Being able to offer acupuncture as a treatment option for her patients has been especially rewarding. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and pets, hiking, trying new food, dancing, Star Wars, and Disney.
