Meet Dr. Melida Hedberg
Dr. Melida Hedberg was born and raised in Albuquerque and graduated from Sandia High School. She then received her B.S. in biology from UNM and her doctorate in veterinary medicine from Iowa State University. After many years of practice she has formed bonds not only with the pets she sees but also with their families, some for several generations. Her greatest joy comes from these close connections and the wonderful combination of being able to mix medicine and working with animals. Still married to her college sweetheart, she has two married children and three grandchildren whom she adores.
